Understanding SIKU Location Permission

SIKU asks for location permission only when users choose features that need it and clearly explains why it’s required.

Showing Your Location on the Map

The first time a user opens the Map tab, SIKU displays a disclosure explaining that location access is needed to show the user’s current location on the map.

Creating a Post

The first time a user creates a post, SIKU displays a disclosure explaining that location access is needed to set the location of the post.

Recording a Trip

To record trips accurately, SIKU requires “Allow all the time” location access so it can continue recording the route when the screen is off or another app is in use.
