Ice Type Picker

1. When creating a post, you may be prompted to pick an ice type as shown below.
   
2. To simplify your choices, click one or more filters from the right hand column. Only the options in that category will appear on the right. For example, by clicking “Ice Habitat”, only ice habitats, such as Polynya, will appear on the right column.
   
3. The easiest way to navigate this page is to click on the left hand boxes one by one and choose which options apply in that section. For example, click the “ice types” box and choose which ice type you observed on the right hand side. Then un-click the “ice types” box and click “ice habitats” box and choose which options apply. Continuing doing this until you have clicked each option. For more information on ice types you can access their profiles using the Find Sea Ice Profiles help file.
